What we store, and why

Your account

We store your name, email address, password hash and language so you can sign in. We keep a hashed fingerprint of the device that created the account, only to prevent trial abuse; it cannot be traced back to you.

Your webshop connection

API keys you enter for Shopify or Lightspeed are encrypted before they reach our database and are used only to run your till: reading your catalogue and booking your sales. We never read more of your webshop than the till needs.

Payments

Your subscription is handled by Stripe; your card details never touch our servers. Card payments at your counter go through your own SumUp account and stay between you and SumUp.

Visitors

We measure visits to this site in aggregate. Full details, such as your IP address, are only recorded when you accept all cookies in the banner.
