SumUp card readers driven over the cloud: the till sends the amount, the reader confirms

A payment attempt is recorded before anything touches the network; a manual fallback never loses a sale
Reconciliation on startup, so an interrupted payment resolves itself

Open tabs by name, table or club; rounds parked per tab
Kitchen tickets that print on booking, with who-ordered-what
Options and modifiers, part portions, bottle deposits
Splitting a bill in half or by any amount

Barcode scanning without focus fiddling; price checker on the lock screen
